Euram Ruminant Business Director (director Global Marketing)

This role is for a Regional Ruminant Business Director at Merck, focusing on executing global business unit strategies within the regional commercial organizations. Responsibilities include project execution, aligning initiatives, managing resources, monitoring KPIs, and ensuring communication across various teams. The role requires strong leadership, business acumen, commercial competencies, and deep understanding of the Animal Health industry, particularly the Ruminant Production sector.

What you'd actually do

  1. Measure the success and value of each initiative using defined, verifiable metrics/outcomes and relay results across the organization (Regional Leadership, Global Species Leads, Global Marketing, R&D, Manufacturing, etc.).
  2. Deliver the key business objectives of the Ruminant Business Unit in the assigned region, initially focusing on aligning and executing initiatives from the Species Strategy and Marketing Plans.
  3. Work with Regional & Country Leadership and the Global Ruminant Lead to ensure alignment on necessary resources to execute priority initiatives in relevant markets.
  4. Support markets in building and achieving objectives for business initiatives, including development and implementation of Regional Business and Marketing Plans aligned with Global Species Business plans, and ensure periodic monitoring reports.
  5. Promote effective communication and engagement with regional commercial operations through visits and regional business meetings, and maintain regular feedback with stakeholders and support functions.
