Skills

Required

5+ years of technical engineering experience (Software, Systems, or DevOps)
2+ years specializing in automation and workflow engineering (e.g., IT workflows, scripting, integrations, iPaaS/connectors) and/or backend development (Python preferred)
Proven track record of integrating enterprise SaaS platforms (ServiceNow, Okta, etc.) via OOTB capabilities (connectors/webhooks) and custom REST APIs as needed

Demonstrated experience building workflow buildouts and automations in enterprise platforms (e.g., ServiceNow workflows/catalog/process automation, Okta lifecycle automation, Slack/ChatOps automation)

What you'll do The primary purpose of this role is to architect, build, and operationalize end-to-end IT automation to improve reliability and speed across internal operations. Unlike traditional engineering roles, this position designs cross-system workflows that connect existing platforms like ServiceNow, Okta, Slack, and Google Workspace. The role prioritizes an “out-of-the-box first” approach while building custom integrations and REST APIs when native functionality cannot meet scale or security requirements. Although agentic AI solutions are a component of the portfolio, the role is accountable for delivering measurable outcomes through automation and workflow engineering overall. Finally, this position determines the architecture, platform approach, and security guardrails for production-grade automation interacting with enterprise systems and corporate data. This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Director, IT Operations. Ensure integrations are reliable, observable, and secure Design and deploy AI-enabled components where it adds measurable value, (e.g., agentic assistants for ticket triage, guided resolution, and knowledge lookup) Build grounding and retrieval patterns (RAG when appropriate) to improve accuracy and reduce operational risk Embed "Security by Design" principles into all automation and integrations Configure guardrails, approvals, audit logs, and least-privilege access controls to ensure automated actions operate securely within the corporate environment (Zero Trust model) Provide onsite support when required for AV (zoom rooms, events) Act as escalation point for local IT technicians Job Designation Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required.
