This role is for an Events Lead within the Marketing Events team at Anthropic, focusing on brand-focused events to build Anthropic's share of mind in the AI landscape. The lead will own the strategy and execution of events, from concept development to post-event analysis, working cross-functionally with various teams to ensure events authentically communicate Anthropic's values and position as a company building safe, reliable AI. The role involves managing a team, producing owned events, managing presence at industry conferences, and developing event playbooks and budgets. While the company builds AI, this role is focused on marketing and brand building, not direct AI/ML development.

What you'd actually do

  1. Develop and execute brand events, ensuring alignment with Anthropic's broader brand and marketing objectives, including increasing unaided awareness and establishing AI provider mindshare
  2. Manage a team of full time and contracted employees
  3. Lead end-to-end production of Anthropic-owned brand events, including concept development, creative direction, vendor management, on-site execution, and post-event analysis
  4. Collaborate closely with the brand creative team to develop compelling event identities, spatial design concepts, and experiential elements that bring the Anthropic brand to life in three-dimensional spaces
  5. Partner with communications and policy teams to produce thought leadership events, forums, and experiences that position Anthropic as a leader in responsible AI development
