Events Manager, Internal & Workplace

Cursor Cursor · Coding AI · San Francisco, CA · Marketing

The Events Manager, Internal & Workplace at Cursor is responsible for the end-to-end ownership of hosted events, focusing on internal employee experiences and office-based events. This role involves strategy, concept development, onsite execution, and production, aiming to embody Cursor's culture and inspire employees. The manager will also build event playbooks, manage budgets, and coordinate cross-functionally with various internal teams.

What you'd actually do

  1. Help define and build what industry-leading events look like at Cursor — setting standards and creating a playbook that scales.
  2. End-to-end event ownership, including event strategy, concept, agenda, attendee journey, venue selection, vendor management, run-of-show, staffing, budgets, timelines, retros, and outcome tracking.
  3. Define goals, target audiences, and success criteria for each event — then track outcomes and iterate to improve signal and experience.
  4. Own the end-to-end strategy and execution for office-based events that bring Cursor culture to life—spanning internal moments and externally attended hosted experiences at HQ.
  5. Build and maintain an “office event playbook”: space standards, room resets, wayfinding/signage, staffing roles, vendor roster, load-in/load-out, catering standards, and repeatable run-of-show templates across our growing fleet of offices.
