Jane Street is seeking an Events Specialist to join their Workplace Services and Experience team. This role will focus on expanding event offerings in Asia offices, building relationships across the firm, and planning/executing events for employees and college recruits. Responsibilities include venue selection, catering, entertainment, transportation, promotion, RSVP management, on-site support, and collaborating with internal teams like Recruiting and HR. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree, 5+ years of event management experience, strong organizational skills, and fluency in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.

What you'd actually do

  1. Building relationships across the firm to understand our culture and colleagues
  2. Organising events from start to finish, including but not limited to: venue selection, catering, entertainment, transportation, promotion, RSVP management and on-site event day support
  3. Collaborating with our Recruiting, Human Resources, Workspace Services and other internal support teams
  4. Maintaining a database of all event details and costs
  5. Working with our Legal team on all event-related contracts
