Executive Assistant to support the Head of Comedy and Adult Animation for ABC Entertainment & Hulu Originals, involving scheduling, travel coordination, and administrative tasks.

What you'd actually do

  1. Schedule meetings, answer phones, make travel arrangements and various other administrative tasks to support the President, Scripted Programming.
  2. Review your leader’s schedule to build-in time to prep for meetings properly and assist with prep when needed.
  3. Interface directly with other senior executives and their support teams, your ability to collaborate effectively with individuals at all levels is a crucial aspect of your role
  4. Be prepared to adjust and revamp the entire schedule in response to unforeseen situations and resume normal operations once the situation is resolved.
  5. Handle extremely confidential, sensitive information, remembering that Disney is a publicly traded company.

Skills

Required

  • Minimum of 2 years’ administrative assistant experience
  • General understanding of the television development process and cycles.
  • A team player who is adaptable and can maintain their composure in a high stress, fast paced environment
  • Ability to anticipate the executive’s needs and effectively handle frequently changing priorities.
  • Thrives in an environment that requires commitment and administrative focus, strong organizational skills, precise attention to detail, and solid judgement.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; positive and collaborative working style.
  • Ability to multitask, manage and disseminate a variety of work tasks punctually and effectively.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and Airtable).

Nice to have

  • Experience supporting an SVP or above preferred.
  • Knowledge and passion for entertainment and media.
