Executive Communications Specialist

Box is seeking an Executive Communications Specialist to build and manage a scalable executive communications program. This role will shape how Box's leadership communicates externally, focusing on visibility, messaging, and thought leadership aligned with business priorities. The specialist will manage executive engagements, foster media relationships, develop executive-ready content, and measure program impact. The ideal candidate has experience building executive comms programs, partnering with senior leaders, strong media relations skills, and a builder's mentality, with a preference for experience in AI products or AI companies.

What you'd actually do

  1. Build and manage a scalable executive communications program that aligns leadership visibility, messaging, and thought leadership to Box’s business priorities.
  2. Manage executive visibility opportunities by identifying, prioritizing, and supporting conferences, media engagements, influencer interactions, and thought leadership platforms.
  3. Foster and manage relationships with event organizers, media (traditional, new media, and other external voices) to expand Box’s executive visibility and support strategic storytelling.
  4. Partner closely with senior executives to develop strategic messaging, storylines, and communications plans across owned, earned, and social channels.
  5. Create executive-ready content including keynote presentations, speaking remarks, Op-Eds, talking points, FAQs, internal communications, and digital content.
