What you'd actually do

  1. Execute assigned components of the U.S. medical strategy in alignment with brand and portfolio priorities.
  2. Contribute to evidence generation initiatives by leading assigned workstreams or analyses and translating data into Medical Affairs insights.
  3. Develop, update, and deliver high-quality scientific communications with accountability for content accuracy and rigor.
  4. Engage externally with healthcare professionals and scientific stakeholders to conduct compliant scientific exchange and capture insights.
  5. Plan and deliver Advisory Boards and scientific interactions, including content development and synthesis of outcomes.

Skills

Required

  • Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathy
  • board eligible or certified in related specialty or have completed the comparable level of post-medical school clinical training
  • 5 years experience of working within the US healthcare system in customer facing roles
  • 8 years in Medical Affairs, clinical research, or pharmaceutical development

Nice to have

  • Experience in obesity, diabetes, or cardiometabolic therapeutic areas
  • Proven track record in publications, advisory boards, and scientific engagement
  • Experience working in a complex, matrixed global organization
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
