This role is for a Strategic Program Director within JPMorgan Chase's Chief Data Office Strategy and Execution team. The primary focus is to lead enterprise transformation programs aimed at modernizing data and privacy management and governance. The role involves managing large, cross-functional initiatives from initiation to implementation, partnering with product and technology teams, and driving outcomes aligned with the data roadmap. Key responsibilities include defining success measures, managing risks and dependencies, and providing executive-level reporting. The role operates in a collaborative, matrixed environment requiring strong influence, structured execution, and clear communication.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field
  • Ten years of experience leading strategic programs and/or transformation initiatives in a complex, cross-functional environment
  • Demonstrated experience managing end-to-end delivery (planning, requirements, execution governance, implementation, and go-live)
  • Proven ability to manage tight delivery timelines while maintaining strong control of scope, risks, and dependencies
  • Strong ability to build consensus and progress initiatives in a highly collaborative, matrixed environment
  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders at multiple levels, including senior leadership
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex topics clearly and succinctly
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint

Nice to have

  • Experience in data, analytics, and/or digital product delivery within large-scale organizations
  • Knowledge of data management and governance concepts, including operating models, controls, and stewardship
  • Exposure to modern data platforms and/or data architecture concepts
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) or other relevant advanced degree
  • Experience facilitating structured workshops to drive alignment, decisions, and outcomes
