This role is for a Pharmaceutical Sales Executive specializing in Neuroscience, focusing on educating healthcare providers and staff about the Spravato program, including its operational, reimbursement, and regulatory aspects. The role requires a strong understanding of payer policies, reimbursement regulations, and REMs. It is a sales-focused position within the healthcare industry.

What you'd actually do

  1. Educate doctors and staff in new and existing Treatment Centers (TC) on the Spravato program including requirements to set up TC capabilities, overall operational considerations, pre-authorization, reimbursement and REMs.
  2. Educate entire staff on REMs set up, certification, program compliance and document requirements.
  3. Educate appropriate clinical staff re: technical aspects of Spravato administration, monitoring, and adverse event management and reporting using CAC approved materials.
  4. Be knowledgeable in local, regional and national payer policies; reimbursement regulations and processes (i.e., eligibility and benefit verification, pre-authorization, billing, coding, claims, and appeals/grievances); REMs certification; Medicare and Medicaid rules and regulations; and state-specific clinical staff licensing / certification requirements for product administration and monitoring.
  5. Share TC insights with coalition members and ensure coalition partners are informed of TC status.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Valid driver's license
  • 3 years of pharmaceutical, biologic/biotech, or medical device sales experience
  • 1 year of specialty sales experience
  • Ability to travel 30%-80% (may include overnight/weekend)
  • Must live in the geography and/or be willing to relocate
