What you'd actually do

  1. Own the External Strategy: Drive the research, engagement & candidate development strategy for high-profile searches by building sophisticated market maps and competitive landscapes.
  2. Deliver Market Intelligence: Provide week-over-week insights to Hiring Managers. Act as the expert on the talent landscape, identifying trends and talent movements that influence search direction.
  3. Business Acumen: Demonstrate a deep understanding of Uber’s business model and the broader tech/logistics landscape. You understand how a specific leadership hire impacts our long-term strategic goals.
  4. Executive Communications: Deliver high-touch, polished communications to both leadership and candidates. You are expected to synthesize complex market data into clear, actionable updates and craft compelling narratives that resonate with world-class executive talent.
  5. Navigate Complexity: Successfully evaluate and engage talent for multi-disciplinary roles. You must be able to assess candidates who sit at the intersection of different business functions and understand the unique "DNA" required for these roles.
