This is a retail management role focused on leading sales teams in specialty departments (Apparel & Accessories, Beauty, Electronics) to drive sales, create a positive guest experience, and manage operational tasks. The role involves scheduling, merchandising, inventory management, and team development. While Target is an AI company, this specific role is not directly involved in building or researching AI/ML models.

What you'd actually do

  1. Drive total store sales, understand your role in sales growth and how your departments and team contribute to and impact total store profitability
  2. Create a guest-obsessed culture and lead your team to prioritize the guest experience and deliver on store sales goals
  3. Create schedules and make adjustments as needed to align to guest traffic and business needs
  4. Manage your team to effectively plan merchandising and pricing workload including transitions, revisions, sales plans, sampling and promotions
  5. Know and assess the competition and leverage guest insights and feedback to drive the business and be the destination of choice for our guests
