This role is for an Executive Travel Scheduler at Bank of America. Responsibilities include coordinating travel arrangements, acting as a primary contact for travel inquiries, communicating updates, following policies, using travel tools, interacting with senior management, arranging air, rail, car, and hotel accommodations using GDS (Sabre), providing consultative advice, ensuring adherence to expense standards, aligning with legal requirements, handling the end-to-end booking process, operating in multi-channel servicing environments, using positive telephone service techniques, and reviewing/reconfirming travel reservations. Requires prior experience in corporate travel or executive travel support, experience in a high-touch service environment, learning agility, self-motivation, knowledge of booking air/rail/hotel/car, understanding fares and ticketing rules, strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, ability to research issues, understanding of travel trends, polished communication skills, integrity, ability to work under pressure, MS Office experience, and effective planning/organization skills. Desired qualifications include experience with Sabre GDS and aviation scheduling software.

Skills

Required

  • Prior experience in Business (Corporate) Travel or supporting executive travel needs/requests
  • Experience working in a high-touch service environment and providing White Gloved client service where performance is measured
  • Demonstrated learning agility and ability to act on constructive feedback
  • Be a self-starter, and self-motivated with exceptional judgment skill to exceed in a high-pressure environment
  • Booking of Air, rail, hotel, car/transportation needs
  • Calculating and Processing exchanges
  • Understanding of fares and ticketing rules, for car, air, and hotel travel
  • Strong attention to detail and be able to problem solve critical issues. Be able to make critical decisions quickly and effectively
  • Ability to research and resolve customer service and traveler issues independently and /or with supplier
  • Possess understanding of travel trends and industry standard processes
  • Polished oral and written communication skills. Be able to communicate effectively with senior management
  • Thorough - Act with integrity, and deal sensitively with personal and confidential traveler information
  • Problem Solving, with a process improvement attitude
  • Able to work under pressure, with a sense of urgency while maintaining a professional rapport and multi-task, accepting, and adapting to change quickly and expertly
  • Strong MS office experiences (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Effective planning and organization skills

Nice to have

  • Experience working with Native Sabre GDS system
  • Previous experience with aviation scheduling software (Professional Flight Management – PFM is preferred)
  • Ability to positively influence team and peers
