This role focuses on experience architecture, design strategy, and organizational alignment to unify and modernize Building Design products within the AEC division. The Experience Design Architect will integrate design, make, data, and people across the AEC lifecycle, driving innovation and a modern user experience. Key responsibilities include serving as the primary user experience leader, owning system-level experience architecture, driving design cohesion, and collaborating with various stakeholders. The role requires extensive experience in user experience design, human-centered design, information architecture, and design systems, with a strong emphasis on strategic thinking and leadership.

What you'd actually do

  1. Serve as the primary user experience leader for Building Design products, defining actionable strategies that unify business, technology, and customer priorities
  2. Own system-level experience architecture, which spans platforms, helps drive system architecture and broad product strategy.
  3. Drive implementation of new processes and standards for systems thinking across organizations
  4. Drive design cohesion, unification, and modernization across AEC initiatives
  5. Partner with design managers to build high-performing teams and evolve design practices. Providing mentorship and coaching for other designers and on complex and critical projects
