JPMorgan Chase is seeking an Experience Design Vice President to lead user experience research for their Connected Commerce division, focusing on travel. The role involves designing and executing research strategies using advanced quantitative and qualitative methods to understand customer needs and inform product enhancements. The candidate will collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams, translate insights into actionable recommendations, and promote a culture of continuous learning. A key aspect is demonstrating thought leadership in utilizing AI to improve research impact and efficiency.

What you'd actually do

  1. Design and implement thorough research studies to uncover customer needs, preferences, and behaviors, driving product enhancements and innovation.
  2. Utilize advanced quantitative and qualitative methods to analyze and interpret data, transforming insights into actionable recommendations for improving user experience.
  3. Conduct surveys and interviews with users to collect information on their needs and desires, and develop user testing scenarios to refine products or features based on the findings.
  4. Define mixed method research roadmaps aligned with product strategy and business objectives, collaborating with designers, product management, and data scientists.
  5. Lead complex, ambiguous research projects from conception through socialization of findings
