Boeing Defense, Space & Security is seeking an Experienced Government & Capital Property Management Specialist to manage company assets, ensure compliance with contract provisions, and enhance property management processes. The role involves administering contract terms, assisting with audits, determining acquisition requirements, managing property records using software tools, maintaining accountability from acquisition to disposition, conducting physical inventories, and verifying property records and servicing requirements. The specialist will also learn to determine property allowability, perform property disposition, assist with inventory adjustments and liability determinations, and handle basic property activities at contract completion or termination.

What you'd actually do

  1. Administers the terms of contract provisions that specify the company's obligations to acquire, control, use, care for, report and dispose of property.
  2. Assists in performing audits, documenting processes and procedures and investigating and reporting lost or damaged property.
  3. Learns to determine property acquisition requirements, product availability and authority to fulfill company, program or contractual obligations.
  4. Uses off-the-shelf software or Boeing system tools to manage and communicate property information and to establish property records for company or government property.
  5. Maintains accountability from initial acquisition to final disposition by coordinating, preparing and documenting applicable forms to indicate a change of ownership, accountability or location of property in accordance with applicable government regulations, customer contracts or corporate policy.

Skills

Required

  • 3+ years of experience in property management, logistics, or material management
  • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Applications
  • Experience with inventory management systems or database applications
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team

Nice to have

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • 3+ years of experience administering processes and tools for managing Government or Capital Property.
  • 3+ years of experience with GOLD, Property Management system for tool classification, status, location, and accountability, or related system
  • Familiarity with U.S. Government Federal Acquisition Regulations
