Experienced Mission Systems Electronic Warfare Analyst

Boeing is seeking an experienced Mission Systems Electronic Warfare Analyst to join their Phantom Works team. The role involves analyzing models for interferometry, beam steering, and geolocation, and collaborating with software teams to create physics-based models for mission planning and real-time calculations on embedded systems. Experience with Electronic Warfare, Computational Electromagnetics (CEM) tools, and avionics subsystem integration is required.

What you'd actually do

  1. Develop and validate requirements for unique sensors, electronic warfare, and other electromagnetic systems and components.
  2. Create and validate electrodynamics/physics models for interferometry, beam steering, and geolocation.
  3. Perform trade studies, modeling, simulation, and analysis to predict component and system performance and optimize designs against complex requirements.
  4. Invent and improve modeling and simulation techniques.
  5. Plan and execute critical tests to validate design performance against requirements.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
  • 5+ years of work-related experience with a bachelor’s degree OR 3+ years of work-related experience with a master’s degree
  • 5+ years experience with avionics subsystem design, integration and analysis

Nice to have

  • Experience with design and analysis of Electronic Warfare Systems
  • Experience developing system requirements, verification plans, functional decomposition / allocation, and interfaces.
  • Experience with avionics integration, analysis and verification
  • Experience working with suppliers to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements
