Develops and integrates advanced Mission Systems components and technologies into demonstration systems, focusing on analysis of models for interferometry, beam-steering, and geolocation. Requires familiarity with Computational Electromagnetics (CEM) tools and Electronic Warfare concepts. Works with software teams to create physics-based models for embedded systems.

What you'd actually do

  1. Develop and validate requirements for unique sensor, electronic warfare and other electromagnetic systems and components.
  2. Develop electrophysics models for interferometry, beam-steering, geolocation.
  3. Develop trade studies, modeling, simulation and other forms of analysis to predict component and system performance and to optimize design around complex requirements.
  4. Develop new and improved modeling and simulation techniques.
  5. Develop and execute critical tests to validate performance of designs to requirements.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry
  • 5+ years of work-related experience with a bachelor’s degree OR 3+ years of work-related experience with a master’s degree
  • Computational Electromagnetics (CEM) tools
