Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for an **Experienced Product Repair Mod Tech (Structures/Composites) ** to join our CMC team in Victorville, CA.
Position Responsibilities:
- Aircraft mechanical component troubleshooting, repair procedures and replacement of parts
- Requires broad knowledge of aircraft sheet metal/structural modifications and repair, must have composite repair experience
- Receives limited technical guidance from supervisor or higher-level technician
- Enter relevant data in aircraft logs and records.
This position requires the ability to pass an assessment at the end of training cycle
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 3+ years of experience in an aircraft composite repair role
- 3+ years of experience in aircraft mechanical repair procedures and replacement of parts
- 3+ years of experience in aircraft structural modifications and repair
- 3+ years of experience with aircraft tools such as test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers, micro bonder, vacuum gauges, heat blankets
- 3+ years of experience with aerospace technical publications
- Ability to work variable shifts (i.e. scheduled and unscheduled overtime; weekends and holidays) to support mission requirements and workload
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 787 composite experience
- A Certification
