Boeing is seeking an Experienced Product Security Engineer (Software) to join their Anti-Tamper Engineering Capability Center. The role involves supporting development programs, research efforts, and strategic initiatives in product security and anti-tamper. Responsibilities include defining software architectures, implementing designs, and testing security solutions for defense platforms. Requires a Bachelor's degree in a technical field and 5+ years of experience, with a strong emphasis on software development for military/defense customers. A US Secret Security Clearance is mandatory.

What you'd actually do

  1. Support development programs, research efforts, and strategic initiatives in the areas of Product Security / Anti-Tamper
  2. Develop, document and maintain architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for software systems
  3. Work with platform chief engineers, chief architects, and team leads to define platform architectures and implementations that will allow the fielding and sales of the most advanced tactical capabilities.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
  • 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications
  • Experience in design, development, and integration of complex electronic systems or subsystems
  • Experience supporting Military/Defense customers
  • active U.S. Secret US Security Clearance
  • U.S. Citizenship Required

Nice to have

  • Experience in the anti-tamper or product security domains
  • Experience in requirements analysis
  • Experience or interest in cryptography, secure communications protocols and reverse engineering techniques at a system and component level
  • Experience or interest in commercial off the shelf (COTS) FPGA's and COTS security features
  • Current US Top Secret Clearance
