Experienced/senior Procurement Agent

This role is for a Senior Procurement Agent at Boeing Defense, Space & Security. The primary responsibilities include managing supply and demand, negotiating contract terms, preparing negotiation strategies, interpreting contracts, resolving supplier performance issues, and leading supplier performance teams. The role requires experience in supplier management, supply chain, procurement, strategic sourcing, project management, and drafting contracts. Experience with FAR and DFAR contracting is preferred. The position is 100% onsite and requires U.S. Person status for export control compliance.

What you'd actually do

  1. Provides oversight and management of supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance.
  2. Leads negotiation of pricing and contract terms and conditions.
  3. Prepares and executes negotiation strategies resulting in contractual documents and binding agreements.
  4. Interprets and enforces contract terms and conditions.
  5. Consults with external customers to resolve supplier performance issues.

Skills

Required

  • 5+ years of experience working with Supplier Management, Supply Chain, Procurement and/or strategic sourcing practices and processes
  • 5+ Experience project management experience with multiple stake holders
  • 5+ Experience drafting contracts or legal documents
  • 5+ Experience with Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Nice to have

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Experience presenting for executive leadership awareness and approval
  • Experience in Contract Management
  • Familiarity with FAR and DFAR type contracting
