Experienced Structural Analysis Engineer

Boeing Boeing · Aerospace · Oklahoma City, OK

Experienced Structural Analysis Engineer for Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) organization, focusing on modifications and upgrades for bomber and AWACS programs. Responsibilities include developing, integrating, and documenting structural requirements, verifying structural integrity through analysis and simulation, and supporting testing and certification processes.

What you'd actually do

  1. Develops, integrates, and documents structural requirements to validate Airframe Stress design and Finite Element Modelling and Loadcase assessment
  2. Verifies structural integrity by defining requirements for development of analytical methods, finite element models/simulations and other analysis tools to develop the airframe structural environment, characteristics, and performance of the product
  3. Coordinates with other engineering groups to establish the product's environment
  4. Guides product design and verifies structural integrity by using analytical methods, including classical methods of structural analysis, finite element models/simulations and other analysis tools throughout the product lifecycle to develop the structural environment, characteristics and performance
  5. Understands industry best practices in airframe primary and secondary structure and loadpaths
