Experienced Test, Evaluation, and Fabrication Lab Technician for Boeing Defense Systems, focusing on fabricating, repairing, and modifying electrical cables, electronics chassis, panels, hubs, and test racks. What you'd actually do

  1. Independently performs fabrication and assembly of components, cables, complex test fixtures, test systems and hubs or electronics racks using hand tools, soldering, and manual mechanical buildup
  2. Assists in implementing manufacturing processes and technologies
  3. Facilitates systems integration, fabrication and modification; supports integration and checkout of completed products
  4. Conducts tests, participates in design reviews. Troubleshoots and resolves laboratory and test related problems as well as maintenance and repair of lab equipment
  5. Coaches and trains others

Skills

Required

  • Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance
  • US Citizenship
  • 4+ years of experience working with wiring diagrams and/or functional schematics
  • 4+ years of experience constructing wire harnesses and panels
  • Experience with aerospace assembly and/or electrical fabrication

Nice to have

  • Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance
  • Assemble, rework, and troubleshoot small mechanical and electrical assemblies
  • Use of oscilloscope, multimeters, analog and digital designs
  • Effective verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, iterative R&D environment
  • Ability to use multi meters for electrical test
