Asana is looking for an Experiential Designer to bring their brand to life across physical and hybrid environments, focusing on marquee events and internal milestones. The role involves designing end-to-end experiences, from stage design to interactive moments, and partnering with production teams. The designer will also explore and apply AI tools to enhance concept development and production efficiency. This is a hybrid role based in San Francisco.

What you'd actually do

  1. Design and execute experiential brand work across owned and third-party events, including environments, signage, and stage design.
  2. Own major components of the Work Innovation Summit, driving design from initial concept through final physical production.
  3. Translate complex event concepts into cohesive, end-to-end attendee experiences across both physical and digital touchpoints.
  4. Partner directly with production partners, fabricators, and vendors to ensure design intent is executed at the highest level of craft.
  5. Develop scalable design frameworks that allow field teams and global partners to execute within brand standards.

Skills

Required

  • 6-8 years of experience in brand, experiential, or environmental design
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating ownership of integrated brand experiences
  • Deep understanding of spatial thinking
  • Expertise in translating complex brand systems into physical and immersive environments
  • Proven ability to work with production vendors and AV teams
  • Solid grasp of materials and build constraints
  • Highly proficient in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Ability to carry work from concept through final production
  • Strong collaboration skills
  • Ability to influence cross-functional partners in a fast-paced, iterative environment
