Express Sourcing Specialist

Workday is seeking an Express Sourcing Specialist to manage high-volume, low-to-medium dollar sourcing projects within their Source-to-Pay process. This role involves contract review, negotiation, and risk assessment to ensure cost-effective procurement and mitigate risks, while adhering to established processes and category strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of procurement and sourcing principles and experience in a fast-paced environment.

What you'd actually do

  1. Execute sourcing projects in alignment with category-level strategies and established processes for low to medium dollar sourcing projects
  2. Manage a high volume of sourcing requests, primarily low-to-medium dollar value, often with standardized procedures
  3. Support the creation, review, and negotiation of contracts, ensuring favorable terms and conditions
  4. Negotiate with suppliers on pricing, service level agreements, and other key commercial and legal terms to maximize savings and achieve defined goals
  5. Conduct risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential supplier-related risks
