Expression of Interest : Senior Account Executive - Customer Base

Workday is seeking a Senior Account Executive for their Customer Base sales team. This role focuses on upselling Workday Solutions within existing customers, performing account planning, and driving strategic add-on and renewal business for Medium Enterprise customers. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SaaS sales, relationship building, and deal negotiation with C-level executives.

What you'd actually do

  1. Be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with existing customers with a focus on upselling via deal management
  2. Perform account planning for assigned accounts, coordinating with pre-sales and other resources to ensure strategic alignment
  3. Drive strategic add-on and renewal business of Workday solutions within Medium Enterprise customers
  4. Coordinate cross functionally with Workday’s internal teams (pre-sales, digital, value & bid-management, marketing, technical and sales support)

Skills

Required

  • SaaS/Cloud based ERP / HCM / Financial / Planning / or Analytics solutions sales
  • Negotiating deals with C-Suite Executives
  • Building relationships with existing customers for add-on or incremental business
  • Developing long-term account strategies with existing customers

  • Managing longer deal cycles beyond 6 months
  • Understanding of the strategic competitive landscape of the industry
