F-18 Ejection Seat Technician

Boeing is looking for an F-18 Ejection Seat Technician to perform inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and operational support of aircraft egress systems and associated components. This role involves working on ejection seats, canopy systems, oxygen systems, and performing aircraft inspections and repairs. Requires a minimum of 5 years of aviation maintenance experience in egress or related aircraft systems.

What you'd actually do

  1. Technician maintains the following: Aircraft seats and canopy ejection systems, Gaseous O2, fire extinguishing, air conditioning, cockpit heat, pressurization and ventilation
  2. Remove and install Oxygen system valves, gauges, converters and regulators.
  3. Remove, install, inspect and rig ejection seats, Cartridge Actuation Devices (CADS), shoulder harnesses and lap belts.
  4. Perform Daily, pre and post flight and periodic aircraft inspections.
  5. Assembles, disassembles and/or modifies systems by changing, removing, replacing or upgrading aerospace vehicle components to correct failures or implement changes.
