F/a-18 Tool Crib Coordinator

This role is a Tool Crib Coordinator for F/A-18 aircraft at Boeing. Responsibilities include managing tool inventory, coordinating with support organizations, overseeing procurement processes for tool services, and participating in budget management for tool acquisition. It requires experience in material management, inventory control, and managing test assets or calibrated equipment.

What you'd actually do

  1. Assesses manufacturing requirements and verifies customer requests.
  2. Coordinates with support organizations to resolve manufacturing issues.
  3. Works with contract administrators to develop and maintain procurement specifications and standards.
  4. Provides guidance and improvement suggestions to outside suppliers and other analysts.
  5. Participates in the analysis and research of new technology to provide state of the art cost-effective products.

Skills

Required

  • Material Management and Inventory Control
  • managing test assets and/or calibrated equipment
  • Foreign Object Debris (FOD) risk
  • Able to lift 35 lbs.

Nice to have

  • Aircraft MRO or production experience
  • using hand tools and/or hand-held power tools
  • Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access)
  • TCMAX and/or processes related to managing Tool Cribs and systems analysis
