Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking **Fabrication Specialists to support the EE Shelf Assembly **team located in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels, including Entry-Level, Associate, and Experienced Fabrication Specialists.
In this role, you will be responsible for assembling metal structure components with precision and efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of blueprints and production orders and the ability to operate various hand and power tools. **Position Responsibilities: **
- Performs composite lay-up, fabrication and assembly tasks
- Assembles precision mechanical and electro-mechanical components
- Assembles and installs wire harnesses and avionics products
- Performs basic organic chemical conversion and paint preparation
- Applies routine organic coatings for corrosion protection and appearance requirements
- Works on articles of moderate complexity using established drawings and requirements
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):
- Willingness to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed
- Able to perform physical activities such as climbing, bending, kneeling, and lifting
- Able to lift/carry up to 35 lbs
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):
- 1+ years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3+ months experience in Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing experience
- Experience with managing or working to safety, quality, and manufacturing performance data
- Experience with Lean Principles (Continuous Improvement, Standard Work, and 5-S tools)

Entry-Level (Level A): $48,000 - $49,000
Associate (Level B): $54,000 - $64,000
Experienced (Level C): $61,200 -$71,200
