This role is for a warehouse packer (Fachpacker) in the inbound logistics department at Caterpillar. Responsibilities include receiving and unloading shipments, inspecting goods for quantity and damage, repacking items into internal packaging, and assembling sales units. The role requires a background in logistics or equivalent practical experience, a forklift license, and the ability to pass a security check. Experience with MDE scanners and a crane license are considered advantageous. The position is based in Henstedt-Ulzburg, Germany.

What you'd actually do

  1. Annahme und Entladung von Warenlieferungen mithilfe von Flurförderzeugen (Hubwagen, Schnellläufer, Gabelstapler)
  2. Auspacken, Umpacken und Sichtkontrolle der Ware (Mengen, Schäden, Vollständigkeit)
  3. Umverpackung von Lieferantenverpackungen in interne MaK‑/CAT‑Verpackungen
  4. Zusammenstellung von Vertriebseinheiten, Sets und Packgruppen
  5. Unterstützung anderer Logistikbereiche

Skills

Required

  • Logistics training or equivalent practical experience
