Facilities Electrical Engineer responsible for the analysis, design, and maintenance of electrical systems in a manufacturing environment, ensuring performance, safety, and reliability.

What you'd actually do

  1. Conduct detailed analysis and audits of electrical systems to ensure performance, safety, and compliance with quality and reliability standards.
  2. Lead and execute complex electrical engineering projects, collaborating with design teams, construction crews, field operations, vendors, and research and development teams.
  3. Develop, review, and approve electrical specifications, maintenance procedures, and standards for power supply units and battery backup systems.
  4. Monitor system capacity, utilization, and performance trends, establishing virtual sensors to identify issues and implementing corrective measures.
  5. Design and manage work plans for system analysis, troubleshooting, and life extension evaluations, including end-of-life replacement scopes and schedules.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related specialized field.
  • 4+ years of experience in electrical engineering, system analysis, or facilities management with a Bachelor's degree. 3+ years with a Master's degree.
  • Knowledge in electrical equipment management, facility operations, preventive maintenance, and problem-solving methodologies.
  • Experience with breaker coordination, arc flash studies, and power distribution modeling, Switching Procedures, Medium Voltage.
  • Strong knowledge of compliance standards, quality assurance practices, and system capacity management.
  • Experience in sustaining operations.
