Facilities Engineer role at Caterpillar supporting site operations through maintenance and continuous improvements to facilities, including building repairs, energy, security, HVAC, and data/power installations. The role also involves supporting capital projects and new product introduction programs.

What you'd actually do

  1. Performing or assisting in both reactive and preventative maintenance & wellbeing activities.
  2. Monitoring and maintaining parts and tools inventory for infrastructure components and services.
  3. First line support for building service problems and work requests.
  4. Working alongside a team of facilities engineers in support of facility value stream customers.
  5. Advocate safety culture & performance within the Facilities Team and various contractors managed.

  • Worked within the installation and maintenance function, responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of large or multiple facility processes
  • Monitors processes and procedures for developing and maintaining building security to ensure regulatory compliance
  • Identifies and documents specific problems and resolution alternatives (Fault Analysis)
  • Excellent PC, presentation and communication skills
  • Knowledge of PUWER/LOLER/CORGI/IEE/CDM regulations and other applicable legislation

What the JD emphasized

  • Degree, HNC Level 3 or equivalent experience desired
