Northrop Grumman is seeking a Facilities Manager 2 in Boulder, CO to lead day-to-day operations, supervise facilities teams and vendors, manage budgets, coordinate site activities, and oversee maintenance and building modifications. The role requires a High School diploma with 10+ years of facilities experience or a Bachelor's/Master's degree with equivalent experience, 5+ years of management experience, budget administration skills, and an active Top Secret clearance.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead the facility organization in the day to day operation of the Boulder facility and response to emergencies
  2. Supervise and manage the on-site facilities team and contracted building engineers
  3. Coordinate all facility maintenance activities to include hands on supervision of multiple vendors (i.e., plumbers, electricians, etc.)
  4. Manage capital and indirect budgets
  5. Coordinate with leadership, personnel, outside agencies, and programs to ensure successful execution of site activities and operations

Skills

Required

  • High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 10 years of Facilities experience OR Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 6 years of Facilities experience OR Master's degree with a minimum of 4 years of Facilities experience
  • At least 5 years of experience successfully managing and leading teams
  • Experience developing and administering budgets and standards of performance
  • Ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership and project teams
  • Availability to handle off-hours emergencies and holiday work
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
  • Must hold an active Top Secret clearance
  • The ability to work on-site in Boulder, CO

Nice to have

  • Aerospace Industry Large Site Management Experience
  • Facilities Management Professional (FMP) Certification
  • Demonstrated program management experience with facilities and maintenance projects
  • Working with external contractors to see projects through on schedule, within budget, and meeting requirements
  • Experience with Facilities Management Systems (Archibus, Tririga, AutoCAD, etc.)
