Job Description:
To provide students with an opportunity to apply mechanical engineering knowledge gained in school. Students will enhance their skills through handson exposure to building mechanical systems while gaining workplace experience under the guidance of experienced technicians. The intern will support operation and preventive maintenance of mechanical system such as HVAC, Chiller, OFA and vacuum systems. Student will also have opportunity to involve in hands on preventive maintenance activity such as filter replacement, LEV, vibration analysis and pump maintenance while following safety standards and clear facility maintenance procedures.
Qualifications:
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. Ability to read, write, and speak in English. Basic understanding of mechanical systems such as HVAC, Chiller , OFA, vacuum systems, pumps, and ventilation. Able to read technical documents such as drawings, layouts, and maintenance manuals; proficiency in Microsoft Office. Willing to work 8hour day shift, in industrial and Data Center environments Position is based in Penang.
