This role is for a Facilities Planner at Northrop Grumman, responsible for planning and coordinating office space infrastructure, modifications, and building projects. The duties include managing space requests, coordinating with construction teams, managing employee moves, updating space utilization systems, and creating floor plans. The role requires experience in facilities planning, construction processes, reading construction documents, Microsoft Products, CAD software, and real estate asset management software like Archibus.

What you'd actually do

  1. Support space planning efforts as a primary contact for any office space requests.
  2. Ensure projects and tasks are completed per standards.
  3. Initiate Purchase Requisitions and tracks Purchase Orders, submittations, and Change Notices.
  4. Support Construction Engineer coordinating the work of employees and contractors assigned to a project.
  5. Coordinate employee moves, updates Archibus system, and generates monthly reports on space utilization.
