Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Facilities Staff Engineer in Athens, Georgia to ensure the quality, safety, and compliance of facilities systems, operations, and maintenance. This role involves managing facilities and utilities operations under an Integrated Facilities Management model, ensuring compliance with GMPs and EHS&S regulations. Responsibilities include overseeing quality systems, investigations, CAPAs, training, SOPs, and audit compliance, as well as managing outsourced service providers and driving site improvements. The ideal candidate will have experience in quality systems and facilities, with strong leadership skills to implement strategies and initiatives.

What you'd actually do

  1. Drive compliance and quality within Facilities Management.
  2. Provide technical support to the changes in the impacted areas according to GMP and EHS&S regulatory requirements.
  3. Acts as Facilities compliance leader for area improvement, deviation and investigation evaluations, regulatory and compliance audits, and capital justification. Also, supports FM Service Providers.
  4. Quality SME in facilities, including but not limited to pest control, GMP utilities, drawing management, housekeeping management, etc.
  5. Oversight of FM Service Provider’s daily performance and site operational opportunities by participating in Tier 1, Tier 2, and Supervisor meetings as applicable. Identify recurrent opportunities in site assets / systems impacting Quality. Assign root cause and create plans to mitigate / eliminate the opportunity.
