Facility Asset Management Manager (contract)

This role is for a Facility Asset Management Manager responsible for overseeing project plans, project management, leadership of project teams, procurement strategies, and construction management for large-scale institutional/commercial/retail/hotel projects. The role requires a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Building Surveying, or Engineering. Strong communication, negotiation, analytical, and leadership skills are essential.

What you'd actually do

  1. Review annual and long-range Integrated Facility Project Plans in line with the local and global business plans and direct comprehensive analysis relating to feasibility, operating requirements, financial returns, environmental impacts, technical and local code compliances, funding and resources planning, development issues and other key strategic project related issues.
  2. Review and develop strategic project plan setting out the project management approach for the planned projects with project structure, role of project participants and mechanisms to plan, implement, monitor and review the project development in accordance with the project objectives.
  3. Lead and develop a team of project managers and construction experts in different engineering disciplines and building professionals to deliver a portfolio of projects.
  4. Provide guidance to overall project management to achieve strategic benefit and objectives from planned project portfolio and in line with specified quality, budget and timeline. Develop, monitor and review the Master Project Plan, Project Management plan, Master Construction Scheduling and Master Project Cost Plan.
  5. Review and develop a strategy of how the projects will be procured, lead bid preparation and assessment, taking into consideration specific project nature in term of time, cost, design, specified quality standard.

Skills

Required

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant technical and project management, portfolio management experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture/ Building Surveying/ Engineering or related disciplines
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and analytical skills
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skill across all levels of organization

Nice to have

  • Professional Registration with Corporate membership of relevant professional institutions (HKIE / HKIS / HKIA)
