Facility Project Manager, Data Center

Meta is seeking a data center facility project manager to manage a portfolio of physical infrastructure projects on an operational data center campus, ensuring global retrofit standards are implemented. Responsibilities include project planning, execution, scheduling, resource coordination, stakeholder communication, risk monitoring, and ensuring successful project delivery across various systems.

What you'd actually do

  1. Manage and prioritize a portfolio of projects at a multi-building data center site. This includes intake, prioritization, and coordination of retrofit project schedules with other campus-related activities
  2. Manage project and portfolio strategic cross-functional communication, delegating tactical communication to the retrofit team as applicable
  3. Manage individual projects as required to support prioritizing workloads, as the portfolio necessitates
  4. Leverage all related tools and internal milestone schedules to properly sequence activities for all site retrofits, regardless of size
  5. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that the retrofit team's staffing model supports the retrofit portfolio's needs

Skills

Required

  • Experience in comprehending plans, specifications, and equipment shop drawings
  • Experience communicating project status, risks, and priorities to cross-functional stakeholders such as engineering, operations, and construction teams
  • Experience forecasting project budgets, schedules, and resources
  • Familiar with Electrical, Mechanical, Controls, and fire and life safety systems, and applicable building codes
  • 7+ years of project management experience in any combination of construction, operations, maintenance, and project planning in complex environments
  • Proficiency with one or more Project Management IT toolsets (i.e., Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Procore, e-builder, etc.)
  • Experience managing vendor sourcing and contract administration
  • Retrofit portfolio management experience
  • Proficiency with maintenance planning tools such as Hexagon, SAP, etc
  • Experience in critical environment projects

Nice to have

  • Bachelor’s degree related field and 3+ years relevant industry experience will be considered in lieu of 7+ years industry experience
