NVIDIA is seeking a Factory Planner to manage supply chain operations, translating demand into executable factory plans. This role involves balancing materials, capacity, and manufacturing readiness with contract manufacturing partners and cross-functional teams. The position requires leveraging AI-enabled, analytics, and automation tools to enhance productivity, decision quality, and responsiveness in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

What you'd actually do

  1. Drive best‑likely build commits by balancing demand, manufacturing constraints, and CM capabilities while proactively identifying supply risks.
  2. Monitor and drive execution of weekly factory build plans (likely commits), ensuring actual delivery adheres to committed plans and achieves OTD targets.
  3. Partner with cross‑functional teams including Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Global Supply Chain, Inventory Control Planners, and CM partners to ensure plan feasibility and execution.
  4. Monitor CM capacity, identify gaps, and support mitigation plans to resolve constraints impacting production.
  5. Collaborate with Inventory Control Planners to maintain healthy inventory across raw materials, WIP, and finished goods, minimizing shortages, excess, and aging.

Skills

Required

  • 5+ years of experience in factory planning, production planning, or supply chain management within a regional or global manufacturing environment, preferably in high‑tech industries.
  • Strong understanding of factory operations, capacity planning, and manufacturing execution in a CM‑based model.
  • Hands-on experience leveraging AI, advanced analytics, automation, or digital tools to improve productivity, planning accuracy, or decision-making in operations or supply chain functions.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable plans.
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams and external CM partners.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure, and rapidly changing environment while continuously learning and adapting to new technologies.
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills, including the ability to present data‑driven insights to stakeholders.
