Figure AI, a robotics company building humanoid robots, seeks a Failure Analysis Engineer to analyze hardware failures at component, module, and system levels, collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions and improve FA processes. The role requires experience in hardware failure analysis within robotics, automotive, or consumer industries, understanding of failure modes, and practical FA skills.

What you'd actually do

  1. Analyze robot and component failures from test and field to find root cause of failure.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional partners, including ME/EE Design, Manufacturing, System Integration, SW/FW, and CMs to find and implement corrective actions (CA).
  3. Implement best FA practices and streamline FA processes to minimize FA to CA time.
  4. Identify and procure FA equipment and contribute to in-house FA Lab build and improvement.
  5. Supervise and drive supplier FAs.
