Oracle Health Government Services is seeking a Communications Manager to drive communication strategies for federal healthcare programs. The role involves leading a team to design and execute communication initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams and client partners. Key responsibilities include owning communications planning and execution, creating content, managing channels, measuring impact, and leading a team. Experience in communications, knowledge of the federal government, and understanding of healthcare environments are essential. Previous federal government experience is preferred.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own communications planning and execution: Identify, prioritize, and manage communication opportunities; develop and launch integrated communication strategies and campaigns aligned to program and business goals (healthcare-focused).
  2. Partner with leadership and stakeholders: Collaborate with internal and client leadership to shape strategic messaging, cascade key updates, gain sponsorship for initiatives, and maintain strong working relationships across teams.
  3. Create and oversee high-quality content production: Lead development of communications and marketing materials end-to-end (e.g., plans, one-pagers, white papers, articles, web pages, presentations, and social media), ensuring clear, audience-targeted messaging with minimal revisions.
  4. Ensure quality, accuracy, and consistency: Review, proofread, and edit deliverables; enforce communication best practices and adherence to established team/client processes to meet or exceed quality standards.
  5. Manage channels and platforms: Select, optimize, and govern communications across platforms and tools; apply basic platform/tool knowledge to maximize reach and effectiveness.
