What you'd actually do

  1. Act as Microsoft’s senior executive presence in Canberra for Defence, Intelligence and Federal agencies
  2. Shape and govern joint multi‑year roadmaps aligned to national priorities
  3. Engage at Secretary, C Suite (CIO, CDS/CISO) and agency‑head level as a trusted advisor
  4. Own end‑to‑end accountability across commercial, delivery, security and risk
  5. Drive secure ICT modernisation at scale

  • Australian Citizenship
  • NV1 security clearance
  • Experience operating in high-trust, regulated environments
  • Proven track record of managing a commercial business or portfolio at scale
  • Experience with forecasting accuracy, revenue outcomes, and sales pipeline health
  • Experience navigating long sales cycles, complex tenders, and executive negotiations
  • Experience leading agile, highly matrixed teams
  • Executive presence for engaging with Senior Executive Service (SES) and C-suite stakeholders
  • Sound ethical judgment
  • Ability to remain steady under scrutiny in high-stakes environments
