Federal Materials Associate, Far/dfar (1st Shift)

This role is for a Federal Materials Associate in the Supply Chain team at Anduril, a defense technology company. The primary responsibilities include processing shipping and receiving, managing inventory, compiling records, preparing stock for shipment, and operating machinery. The role requires experience with government property and inventory management per FAR & DFARS.

What you'd actually do

  1. Process shipping and receiving at the Costa Mesa and/or Santa Ana locations as needed
  2. Compile records concerning quantity, cost, and type of material received, shipped, in stock inventory, and/or in production
  3. Prepare finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, labeling, loading, and securing product
  4. Expedite flow of material, parts, and assemblies within or between departments in accordance with production and shipping schedules
  5. Complete cycle counts and conduct all warehouse activities with inventory accuracy as a top priority

Skills

Required

  • 5+ years as a warehouse associate or equivalent experience
  • Previous experience with management of government property & inventory management per FAR & DFARS
  • Must be able to work Monday through Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm and flexibility to do overtime
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to be onsite, local to Costa Mesa, CA or Santa Ana, CA

Nice to have

  • 3+ years forklift experience and license
  • Experience working in the defense/aerospace industry
  • Experience complying with the Federal Acquisitions Regulations (FAR) Part 52.244 and the Defense Federal Acquisitions Regulation Supplement (DFARS) part 252.244-7001
  • Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and/or other warehouse management and inventory control tooling.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office or equivalent office management tooling
  • Familiarity with Inventory Management through lot/serial/batch tracking
  • Experience packaging and handling hazardous shipments
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Able to adapt in fast-paced environments
  • Ability to flex as work shifts can be subject to change depending on the business need
  • Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently and effectively
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. clearance
  • Active secret or top secret clearance within the last 5 years
