Field Engineer for an Industrial AI company, responsible for installing, implementing, and supporting AI-driven hardware and services at customer sites. Requires extensive travel, mechanical aptitude, technical expertise, and customer-facing professionalism.

What you'd actually do

  1. Travel 80–90% of the time to support customer sites
  2. Install and implement Augury’s hardware and services in industrial environments
  3. Partner with customers (external and internal) to ensure successful deployments and ongoing satisfaction
  4. Manage administrative responsibilities, including service reports, customer action lists, inventory returns, and asset tracking
  5. Collaborate with Reliability Systems Managers to optimize product performance and customer outcomes

Skills

Required

  • 5–10 years of hands-on experience installing or troubleshooting industrial controls, electromechanical systems, and/or wireless systems
  • Strong understanding of rotating equipment operation and design
  • Experience working in industrial environments with adherence to safe work practices
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with both customers and internal stakeholders
  • Strong customer-first mindset
  • Professional presence and ability to represent Augury in the field
  • Residence in Chicago, IL, or Houston/Dallas, TX within one hour of a major airport
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and ability to pass a background check
