Field Marketing and Sales Support Specialist

This role supports field marketing and sales growth by generating leads, engaging customers, and executing marketing activities. It involves market research, campaign support, event participation, and direct sales prospecting to build the sales pipeline and contribute to brand awareness. The role requires strong communication, CRM experience, and the ability to work independently and travel extensively.

What you'd actually do

  1. Assist in the development, execution, and tracking of targeted marketing campaigns to maximize performance and engagement.
  2. Support digital marketing initiatives, including email marketing and social media activities, while analyzing and reporting on key engagement metrics.
  3. Generate and qualify high-quality leads through outbound calls, emails, social media, and other prospecting activities to directly build and grow our sales pipeline value.
  4. Follow up on inbound enquiries to consistently convert prospects into qualified sales opportunities.
  5. Organise, participate in, and track the performance of trade shows, webinars, and customer events to maximize local lead generation.

Skills

Required

  • 1–3 years' experience in inside sales, telesales, business development, or marketing.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google applications.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
  • Strong customer service orientation, ability to troubleshoot and handle objections.
  • Good time management skills, with an ability to be a self-starter, work autonomously and show initiative.
  • Ability to travel within Australia, New Zealand and internationally as required.

Nice to have

  • Experience in B2B sales and marketing.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing platforms and social media advertising.
  • Relevant qualification in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
  • Understanding of the Australian agriculture market and customer landscape.
