LangChain LangChain · Data AI · Chicago, IL · Marketing

This role is for a Field Marketing Manager at LangChain, a company focused on building the foundation for agent engineering. The primary responsibility is to execute high-impact events to drive pipeline and community growth, partnering closely with marketing, sales, and developer relations teams. The role involves planning and executing various events, generating pipeline through field programs, identifying opportunities, managing event operations, and building the field marketing playbook. The ideal candidate has 5-8 years of experience in field marketing, strong project management skills, and experience supporting pipeline generation. Experience marketing to technical audiences or in the SaaS/AI space is a plus.

What you'd actually do

  1. Plan and execute a portfolio of field programs including industry conferences, executive dinners, workshops, roadshows, and sponsorships. Own everything from planning and vendor coordination to on-site execution to post-event strategy.
  2. Partner with sales to ensure events generate real pipeline. Set goals for meetings, leads, and opportunities—and ensure strong follow-up after every event.
  3. Work with regional sales leaders to identify pipeline gaps and launch targeted events or field programs to engage priority accounts. Develop account based marketing plan with sales for the high priority accounts.
  4. Evaluate 3rd party conferences and sponsorships to determine where LangChain should show up and how we can stand out.
  5. Coordinate logistics including booth materials, vendors, shipments, and event tech. Ensure reps are prepped and ready to maximize every event.
  6. Continuously refine our field marketing playbook—testing formats, improving ROI, and scaling what works.
