Field Medical Director, Breast and Gynecologic Cancers (new England) - Non-md

Pfizer is seeking a Field Medical Director for Breast and Gynecologic Cancers in the New England region. This role involves providing therapeutic area and product expertise to medical customers, delivering approved medical content, identifying and engaging with priority customer segments, and responding to unsolicited medical requests from healthcare professionals (HCPs). The position also includes leading advisory boards, collaborating with R&D and Global Product Development on clinical trial site identification, supporting the Investigator Sponsored Research (ISR) process, and cultivating research expertise. The role requires strong territory leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a matrixed team environment and adapt to change. Travel is expected to be 60-80% of the time.

What you'd actually do

  1. Deliver approved medical content about Pfizer medicines and relevant topics in the designated therapeutic area
  2. Identify and seek medical engagement from priority customer segments in assigned Therapeutic Area
  3. Provide truthful, accurate, and scientifically supported information in response to direct unsolicited medical requests from HCPs in a manner that complies with all applicable Pfizer guidelines, policies, and procedures
  4. Leads advisory boards (BRF, Vendor) with manager oversight
  5. Field relevant inbound queries from HCPs via established triage process

  • Bachelor’s degree in a health science
  • PharmD/PhD with 5+ years of relevant experience, MBA/MSc with 7+ years of relevant experience, BA/BSc with 8+ years of relevant experience
