Field Quality Manager

This role focuses on ensuring product quality in a manufacturing environment, managing failure analysis programs, driving continuous quality improvements, and leading a team of field quality engineers. It involves collaborating with global manufacturing partners, conducting audits, implementing corrective actions, and analyzing field return data to improve product durability and manufacturability. The role requires experience with failure analysis methodologies, tools, data analytics, and quality management systems.

What you'd actually do

  1. Collaborate with global manufacturing partners to ensure consistent product quality and drive continuous quality improvements across our manufacturing sites.
  2. Responsible for overseeing sustaining quality improvement, managing the Early Field Failure Analysis (EFFA) program, leading failure analysis of field returns, and ensuring effective use of quality analytics to drive corrective actions and process improvements.
  3. Conduct periodic audits and drive corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) to mitigate risks.
  4. Work closely with contract manufacturers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to improve product quality and reliability.
  5. Lead and manage a team of field quality engineers to drive quality initiatives across multiple sites.
