Field Service AI Technical Architect

Salesforce is seeking an AI Technical Architect for their Field Service AI Team. This role involves leading customer-facing discovery, designing and implementing scalable AI solutions for field service scenarios, and using AI/automation strategies to drive innovation. Responsibilities include collaborating with customers on AI solution design, defining KPIs, conducting simulation experiments, analyzing data with AI to identify bottlenecks, and leading technical programs for complex use cases. The role also involves driving innovation through tools and methodologies and collaborating with the Product team.

What you'd actually do

  1. Collaborate with and guide the customer and implementers to conceptualize, design and effectively implement AI solutions for field service scenarios
  2. Develop and implement technical requirements by working closely with customer
  3. Define customer’s Key Performance Indicators, collaborating with operational managers while leading business workshops
  4. Design and conduct simulation experiments and find best fitting optimization techniques to align with customers’ defined Key Performance Indicators
  5. Use advanced mathematical and AI-based analysis to review and assess scheduling results, ensuring alignment with business goals

Skills

Required

  • Extensive Experience in the Field Service Domain
  • 3 or more years of experience in customer facing, leading roles in global organizations
  • 3 or more years of experience in problem-solving, analytical roles, that put emphasis on the ability to extract meaning from data.
  • Experience in using data analysis tools
  • Excellent verbal and written communication as well as receptive listening skills, with ability to present complex ideas in a clear, concise fashion to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent multi-tasking skills and the ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic environment with changing priorities

Nice to have

  • Certification in Salesforce Field Service, Salesforce Admin, Service Cloud, Platform Dev 1 and AI
  • Experience in crafting and customizing Salesforce solutions using APEX and Flows
  • Experience with Generative AI based tools
  • Familiarity with the service industry, scheduling, or logistics
