What you'd actually do

  1. Provide technical support to resolve network performance issues and contribute to outage resolution efforts
  2. Manage smaller projects or project segments, delivering accurate status and progress updates as required
  3. Identify and recommend process improvements related to maintenance and repair activities to senior staff and management
  4. Assist in developing job aids, scopes of work, and procedural documentation in collaboration with senior technicians
  5. Complete required training to maintain current knowledge of systems, products, and organizational standards

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree OR combination of education and experience deemed equivalent
  • 2-4 years - Working experience in Field Operations and maintenance.
  • 2-4 years - Wireless telecommunications or other related experience.

  • Flexible hours are a must. Day and night work is part of the job, as well as being part of an on-call rotation for the market, which includes weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to lift 50-70 pounds as well as being outside in the elements is an expected part of this role.
  • At least 21 years of age to operate a company assigned vehicle
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States

Nice to have

  • Vocational/Technical Training or related field
  • RAN – Radio Access Network equipment - Experience with Nokia and/or Ericsson RAN technology is a plus
